The LA DASH store located outside of Los Angeles is the premier DASH boutique by Kim Kardashian and her siblings. It’s located on Park Granada in Calabasas, California. The city itself is located not too far from Los Angeles, and the DASH store is easily a half-day trip away for anyone visiting visiting the sprawling city of angels known as LA. The only problem is you can’t look at it in terms of just miles. Sure it’s only about fifteen or twenty miles away from the city, but with the traffic on the 405, 101, 170 or I-5 that fifteen miles can take easily up to one or two hours.

Driving Directions
If you’re coming from downtown LA, you have two options to reach the store. First, you can take the 101 North pretty much the entire way, and after about 27 miles you’ll take Exit #30 to Parkway Calabasas. Once you exit, turn left on Ventura, then left on Parkway Calabasas, and finally a left on Park Granada. The store will be on your right in a shopping center mixed with other retailers and restaurants.

If you’re coming from South LA or the Westside (Santa Monica, Culver City etc), go North on the 405 until you hit the 101, also known as the Ventura Highway, and go west on the 101 until you hit the city of Calabasas. If you see signs for Ventura you’ve gone too far, and the store’s city isn’t exactly a metropolis, so keep your eyes peeled for the proper exit.

DASH LA Hours

When DASH store LA first opened, it served its customers six days a week – taking Sunday off to likely rest and restock for the coming week. Now, however, we hear that the store is open on Sundays to provide adequate service during the summer fashion season.

Keep in mind that while the girls working behind the counter are called DASH Dolls, there is a 99.9999% chance you will not talk to a Kardashian on the phone. There is also a 99.999% chance that you will not see one of them in the store itself, either. Kim and her sisters are usually too busy running their fashion and entertainment empire to spend too much time in the boutiques. However, on the the off chance that you catch them during a filming session for Keeping up with the Kardashians (or any of their other television shows and specials), the store limits the number of guests inside the building to a paltry fifteen. This is to help calm the situation within the store, and to prevent “mobs” of people rushing Kim, Kourtney or their sister Khloe.

DASH Los Angeles Clothing Inspiration

D-A-S-H LA has DASH clothing where shopping is limited to the Los Angeles store, as well as clothes that you can buy at all three locations. There are certain outfits that Kim Kardashian wears, ones that are in her personal wardrobe and ones that she likes to strut and show off on her days out shopping with her sisters, that you can see, shop and buy at the DASH store in Los Angeles.

Clothes that they sell at DASH Los Angeles

The store started off selling your basic assortment of shirts, bottoms, and other accent pieces such as handbags, belts or even shoes sometimes. Of course now that Kim Kardashian has an endorsement deal with ShoeDazzle I’m sure she’s not likely to be giving her own endorser competition from her first store. The Los Angeles DASH store location is fairly small – just a few hundred square feet – so finding your way around the shop is not difficult.

It’s also easy to find the best clothes to fit your style in a store that’s so small and navigable. No matter what your body shape and financial budget, the Kardashians try to take everyone into account when they stock their boutiques. Now I will admit that if you’re a large individual you might have a hard time finding the most flattering pieces for your drawers. The clothes are slightly geared toward the more fit, albeit shapely female silhouettes. Just don’t go into this Calabasas store expecting a whole lot of help or assistance from the people that call themselves employees. Widespread online and first-hand rumors indicate that customer service at the Calabasas LA DASH is less than ideal. Of course online reviews for all the boutiques aren’t necessarily that great, with none of them scoring above a 60% on overall reviews. so we can’t get our hopes up about great service at any location.

DASH Store History and Background

Why are the Kardashians famous? This question is muttered just about everywhere you go in Hollywood, New York, or just about anywhere in between. One of the reasons is because, whether you like it or not, the Kardashian sisters (including Kim, Kourtney and Khloe) have notable and ever-expanding power in the realm of influencing fashion trends and ideas. If they say that turtlenecks with zippers on the left hand side are “in,” than other boutiques in and around NYC, Miami and Calabasas will likely soon follow.

There are so many labels being sold at D-A-S-H right now it’s pretty ridiculous. There’s simply no way to keep track of all the different tags and nicknames that have strolled in through the UPC database. People that you’ve heard of are on the rack, for sure, but for the most part, I’d say that the clothing at the DASH Los Angeles store is supplied by much smaller, and most likely more local and interestingly crafted, artisans and clothiers.

What a cute layout of DASH clothing at the LA store! This picture captures many DASH shirts with things powerful that call the wearer a rebel, say they’re outrageous, and there are also a whole bunch of shirts in the color of the American flag. Those color themes are used extensively, as well as words that have a patriotic theme to them such as “America.” These are particularly fitting for the outlook of the west coast. Laid back and care free, while still being grateful for the freedom that affords such a luxury.

I especially love the hilarious bag in this picture, where a picture of another satchel is actually the decoration on the bag itself. There’s something that looks like a glass bowl filled with possibly nail polish, or something that looks to be the size of a small makeup container. Does Kim Kardashian have her own makeup line at Los Angeles DASH stores, perhaps?

DASH LA Purses

What could be better than a cute and good looking purse? How about a cute purse printed on another purse? That’s exactly what the people over at Thursday Friday bring to Los Angeles DASH. It doesn’t look like they really have a lot of designs, but they do have a fair number of colors. I see two different purses printed on canvas totes, but I see at least five colors for one of those designs.
The prices for these bags range from $30 to $65, with only those two prices being an option. Colors include names like charcoal and cognac, so they’re going for a slightly nicer level than using colors like bumble-blue or something like that.

DASH Los Angeles Store Purse by Thursday Friday

I like the two pictures they chose to use on the facades of the products, but I do wish they offered a better variety than just two options of illustration. One looks like a Coach-sque bag, with a brown-leather thing going on, fold-over flap and large buckle on the front. The other one has no folding flap, and has a more colorful design, including red, blue and yellow squares. I really wish there was more of a selection in terms of models and prints, but overall I think the concept and execution is well done.
